Clear answers about platform, trial, license, privacy, and product limits.

Product and platform
What Bayron Harbor is, and where it runs
Start here if you need the basic product shape before downloading or comparing pricing.
Is Bayron Harbor fully offline?
Yes. Bayron Harbor is designed as a local desktop app for everyday personal finance tracking, budgeting, and reporting.
Is Bayron Harbor available for Windows?
The first release is Windows-first, so Bayron Harbor is described as a Windows desktop product.
Do I need a cloud account?
No. No everyday cloud account is required for the local desktop finance workflow.
Is there a mobile app or web app?
No. Bayron Harbor is a desktop product, not a mobile-first tracker or web-based budgeting account.
Is Bayron Harbor for one person or multiple users?
Bayron Harbor is designed for one person managing personal finances. It is not a shared family, team, or business workspace.
Privacy and data
How the local privacy model works
Bayron Harbor is intentionally focused on local records and deliberate control, not bank-feed automation.
Does Bayron Harbor connect to banks?
No. Bayron Harbor is intentionally focused on manual financial tracking and planning, without a required bank connection.
Where is my finance data stored?
The normal Bayron Harbor workspace stores local data on your computer rather than centering your financial records on a hosted budgeting account.
Can I use aggregated entries instead of bank-level detail?
Yes. You can track records at the level of detail that fits your workflow, from summarized monthly entries to more detailed category tracking.
Should I send financial records to support?
No. Avoid sending private financial data, financial records, database files, payment card details, full license keys, or sensitive screenshots through support.
Trial, pricing, and license
Trying Bayron Harbor during Early Access
The Early Access model is meant to stay simple: evaluate the desktop app first, then request a free personal key by direct email if it fits.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The trial model is a 30-day free trial with a sample database and an empty-start option.
What happens after the trial ends?
After the trial ends, request a free Early Access personal key if the workflow fits. Your local data remains on your computer.
Is the Early Access key free?
Yes. During Early Access, users can request a free personal key by email.
What should I include in a key request email?
Use the subject "Bayron Harbor Early Access key request" and include a short note about what made you interested in Bayron Harbor. Do not send financial records, databases, payment card details, full license keys, or sensitive screenshots.
What does the license include?
The Early Access key is personal, non-transferable, and valid for all Version 1 updates for one person using the Windows-first desktop app.
Does the key include every future version?
No. It is a free personal license for Bayron Harbor, not a promise that every future version is included. Your license covers the current Version 1 and all its updates. Future major versions, such as Version 2, may require a separate license or paid upgrade.
Will Bayron Harbor become paid later?
Bayron Harbor may move to a paid personal license model after public release. Early Access users who receive a free Early Access key can keep using Version 1 with that key.
Workflow and product fit
Deciding whether the workflow matches you
Bayron Harbor is strongest for people who want structure, privacy, and deliberate review more than automation.
Who is Bayron Harbor best for?
Bayron Harbor is best for privacy-conscious individuals, spreadsheet users, deliberate planners, and people who want a focused desktop finance workspace.
Who is Bayron Harbor probably not for?
It is probably not the right fit if you need automatic bank syncing, mobile-first capture, shared family accounts, cloud collaboration, or business bookkeeping.
Does Bayron Harbor support multiple currencies?
Yes. Multi-currency support is part of the product positioning and is included in the feature and FAQ copy.
Can I start with sample data?
Yes. The trial includes a sample database and an empty-start option, so you can explore before entering your own records.
